How threading hair removal was born
Threading originated around 6,000 years ago in India and Persia, where women used it for special occasions. It quickly spread to Arab countries and became the most popular hair removal technique because it is effective, precise, and free of side effects. The method is surprisingly simple: a thin cotton thread is rolled between the fingers in a spiral and passed with rapid movements over the area to be treated, capturing the hair at the base and pulling it out all the way to the follicle.
